The Oktoberfest is an authentic German festival with a wide selection of German food and beers. Patrons can enjoy the knackwurst and bratwurst sausages, freshly made sauerkraut and the festival speciality, ”kartoffelpuffers”.

Emu Park Oktoberfest 24th October held again at the beautiful Bell Park grounds in Emu Park. This will be the 36th Oktoberfest and runs from 11AM till 10PM. Non stop entertainment.

The E.P.Lions Club’s Oktoberfest is an authentic German festival with a wide selection of German food and beers. Patrons can enjoy the knackwurst and bratwurst sausages, freshly made sauerkraut and the festival speciality, ”kartoffelpuffers”.

Huge crowds attend the event billed as the biggest party on the Capricorn Coast. Get yourself dressed up and come and enjoy the festivities.

DON’T FORGET TO BRING YOUR PHOTO ID IF YOU ARE OVER 18, ALL CHILDREN ARE TO BE UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF A RESPONSIBLE ADULT. **

Please note that all persons under 18 years of age must have vacated the venue before 6:00pm. Adults wishing to return will be issued with a passout for re-entry.

Message from the Emu Park Fishing Classic April 14th
The Emu Park Fishing Classic Committee are continuing to monitor the Covid 19 situation and will make a decision by June 30, as to whether the 2020 Emu Park Fishing Classic can proceed.

We would like to give the community something to look forward to in September, if at all possible. Please watch this space and stay safe.

Held at the Pine Beach Hotel – Hosted by Emu Park Events – Daily prizes to be won!

Emu Park Fishing Classic a competition and Expo event held at the Pine Beach Hotel on the 11-13th September raising money for Capricorn Helicopter Rescue, Coast Guard and Local State Emergency Service.

The Emu Park Fishing Classic is a family fishing event for the Capricorn Coast with a great range of local species to weigh in along with random prize draws over the three days with Prizes worth over $40000 including a Boat and Trailer package and heaps of great prizes donated by our awesome sponsors.

EMU PARK QCWA ACTIVITIES

  Tuesday & Thursday: Variety of Craft & Sewing 9-12noon bring your own sewing or craft or learn something new.

Morning tea provided everyone welcome. $3 entry.

Tuesday Seniors Ballet 1- 2pm $3 entry

On the First Friday of every month, we have a sewing day from 9 am till 3 pm. Bring your machine, or sewing project and your lunch. $5.00 for the day.

On the 1st Saturday of the month is Sewing Circle 1pm to 4pm bring your own craft or sewing or learn something new $3.

The 3rd Sunday of the month there is Devonshire teas in the hall, consisting of scones, jam & cream. pikelets with jam & cream. Or Raisin Bread.

Meetings are held on the Second Monday of the Month at 9am in the hall.

Our objectives are to help the community.

We also have fundraising days throughout the year.
