Where: The Oval Emu Park
Time: Day starts around 1.30pm ... Main game kicks off @ 4pm
13 Unlucky for some, definately unlucky for the Youngies.
Be down at the Oval on the 10th of October 2009 to witness the annual Lambs to the Slaughter, as the Oldies put the cleaners through the Youngies.

Last year saw the Oldies halt the young upstarts run of two successive wins and this year the clash should be another of titanic proportions.
The Oldies -v- Youngies Cancer Challenge Rugby League Match and Family fun day is a fundraising day for the Capricorn Branch of the Central Queensland Cancer Fund

The Oldies versus Youngies day has been sponsored by many local businesses but none more than the Emu Park Lions Club, the Pine Beach Hotel, and our local members of Parliament, Ms Kirsten Livermore, Member for Capricornia, and the Paul Hoolihan, Member for Keppel.
The family fun day involves the Squeak Roberts memorial Iron Man Race, kids races which are now sponsored by Tim McCall of Dynamic Satellite Surveys, guys versus girls challenge soccer match and the main event, being the Oldies_v_ Youngies Cancer Challenge Rugby league match.
Rules Of The Day : No Eskies, No Dogs ... it is a fundraiser day for the local Cancer Council Branch and has been for the past 12 years. This year we are also raising money for the local School. There will be a licenced Bar, a well stocked Kiosk and BBQ (run by the School) and plenty of raffles, so bring your spare money with you, and ...... don't forget... leave the eskies at home.
